• work orders can be entered from scratch or copied and modified from open work orders, closed work orders, estimates, or bills of material

• work orders include all labour, material, work centre, and subcontract details

• display/print of any order or range of orders is allowed

• material usage from stores is recorded (as opposed to material bought in which is recorded through Accounts Payable)

• time tickets are entered in detail by employee for distribution to work orders or as indirect labour

• optionally time ticket entry can provide data for input to the payroll system

• Daily Time Ticket Journal shows all details of labour entry

• custom work tickets can be designed and printed for use as shop floor information

• chargeable hours on machines can be recorded against work orders by work centre in time ticket entry or as a separate function
